Spring is in the air!

The recent January thaw has everyone dreaming about the warmer weather...and what to do at the end of basketball season.  SoLo has some answers for you!  

ProPrep Live!  For kids in grades 1-8, this program is designed to help continue the development of players at the house league level.  This program operates out of the N-Zone in Chantilly (close to Target/Costco) and runs March 3-April 28.  This is an affiliate program with the Jr.NBA.  Visit for more details.

TrueAP - Looking to help with overall athletic training?  TrueAP has a wide variety of programs throughout the offseason designed especially for youth (ages 8-10), middle school (ages 11-13), high school (ages 14-18) and college (ages 18-22).  TrueAP offers year-round training and is also conveniently located at the N-Zone in Chantilly.  For more information on their programs, visit, and look for their specials using the code "SLB" for special discounts!

Team Evolution -  For kids in Grades 3-8 who are currently in the house league and looking to push to the next level, Team Evolution combines skill development with a full season of games.  Coached by Evolution’s staff and High School coaches you won’t find a better league for the Spring and Summer!   We partner with Evolution to have some of the training happen right in the Dulles South schools!  For more information, visit

Ball-Istic - Ball-Istic offers a wide array of basketball and fitness training options.  Located in the center of old-town Manassas, Ball-Istic has flexible individual and group programs for a wide array of talent - from novices to elite players.  For more details, visit

SoLo Offseason Travel Program - for players currently in grades 5-8 who are currently in our travel program, for 4th graders who are interested in travel next season, and for 9th graders who are interested in preparing for JV tryouts next season, we have a program for you.  Click here for more details.

Mark your calendars for Friday, March 9, 2018 for a fun-filled family event! Doors open at 6:00 p.m., game time is 7:00 p.m. at Freedom High School.


Come out to see your teachers and administrators from Freedom, JML and local elementary schools battle it out on the basketball court against the amazing hoop talent of the world-renowned Harlem Wizards!

MLBL is getting a new name!

The Mercer-Lunsford Basketball started in 2004 as the Mercer Basketball League.  As the region has grown, so has our league.  With the addition of Willard Middle School and Goshen Post Elementary school next year, we have decided to transition to a region-based name.  Introducing our new name, South Loudoun Basketball!  South Loudoun Basketball, or "SOLO" for short, will continue to feature our winter house and travel program as the cornerstone of our program.  We have recently added spring and summer travel, AAU and other programs to our offerings as well.  For more details, read the official press release and be on the lookout as we migrate from "" to ""  Welcome to the next generation of basketball in southeastern Loudoun county....welcome to South Loudoun Basketball!
